About Mark Jennett

Mark Jennett

I am a trainer, consultant and writer specialising in work around equality and diversity, in particular sexuality and gender equalities.

I also offer support around bullying, behaviour, emotional health and PSHE. I have provided training and other assistance for numerous schools, universities, local authorities, trade unions and commercial organizations.

I have delivered tailored equalities training to commercial and public sector organisations ranging from leisure centres to housing and youth service providers, providing everything from training for managers and staff to consultancy on specific E&D issues.

A few recent projects

Working with Optimus Education as Lead Adviser on the Wellbeing Award for Schools and author of the new Pupil Wellbeing School Impact Award

Working with the Sex Education Forum on Department for Education funded training to support primary and secondary schools to address homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying

Providing Equality and Diversity Training for all managers and supervisors of Greenwich Leisure Ltd, a non-profit organisation which runs over 100 sport and leisure facilities and libraries on behalf of local authorities in London and elsewhere in England.

Authoring the National Union of Teacher’s Getting EVERYONE Reading for Pleasure resource which helps schools to use literature to combat social exclusion and raise educational standards. I also worked with the Union on their Breaking The Mould project, supporting primary schools to challenge traditional gender stereotypes through the curriculum. I am on the board of the Centre for Studies on Inclusive Education, a national charity that works to promote equality and eliminate discrimination in education.
